Is Argentina the cheapest country in the world for surgical procedures?

Not at all. But we guess you wouldn't trust your own body to some unacknowledged surgeon just because he is cheap.
Argentina is recognized for offering first-world medical services at really competitive rates worldwide. Again, you will find cheaper procedures somewhere else, but not a better quality-price relationship.

Actually, for Argentineans these kinds of procedures are quite expensive, but with the currency rate being 1 USD = 3 Argentinean Peso, Americans and Europeans find them extremely affordable.
